About the Pharmacy:
For enrolled students: At this time the pharmacy does not accept any insurance plans. Our cash price is generally less than or equal to most insurance co-payments. We have a limited formulary and can special order most medications. Our formulary includes medication for travel and required school immunizations. We can fill most prescriptions written by outside prescribers. Please call the Cal Poly Pharmacy for price and availability at (805)756-5260.
For students, faculty, and staff: We also carry a variety of non-prescription generic medications. This includes cough and cold, allergy, analgesics, thermometers, toothbrushes, tampons, topical creams, bandages, vitamins and stomach acid reducers just to name a few. Please plan ahead. We are a small and busy pharmacy. Refill requests are generally available for pick up the next day. However, sometimes it takes 24-72 hours for a response for additional refills. All special order medications are received the next business day.

Transferring your prescription to the Cal Poly Pharmacy:
If you have refills on your prescription at another pharmacy, please provide us with the pharmacy phone number, your prescription Rx number and the name of the medication. We will call the pharmacy to transfer the information.
If there are no refills left on your prescription at the Cal Poly Pharmacy
Please call the Cal Poly Pharmacy to request additional refills. The pharmacy will contact your prescriber for additional refills. It usually takes 24-72 hours for a response for additional refills.
