How Can Students Get Involved?
SHAC
The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), an organization open to all students, acts as liaison between Health Services and the student body. Its volunteer members help promote programs such as blood drives, sponsor guest speakers on health topics, and serve on Health Services committees. SHAC is interested in members. Student input is always important. Inquire at Health Services
PEER HEALTH EDUCATORS
Peer health educators are students who are trained to promote awareness about alcohol and other drugs, sexuality, nutrition, and lifestyle wellness. They act as resources for students through workshops, individual consultations, and other activities that address health-related issues on campus. Applications are welcome during Winter Quarter.
