Wellness Promotion Specialist

In collaboration with the County of San Luis Obispo's Behavioral Health Department, Campus Wellbeing is proud to host a part time College Prevention & Wellness Promotion Specialist for students, staff and faculty. This position is designed to provide mental health, substance use and wellness resources to the Cal Poly community.

Whether you need recommendations for yourself, for a friend or a loved one, the Wellness Promotion Specialist can act as a liaison to connect anyone from Cal Poly to services.

Tuesday & Thursday

9:00am - 3:00pm

Campus Health & Wellbeing | Building 27 Room 173B

About the the Wellness Promotion Specialist:

Lauren Rocha is a recent Cal Poly graduate. Lauren received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, June 2016. During her time at Cal Poly, Lauren was an Orientation Board member with New Student & Transition Programs, as well as, participated in PULSE as a Peer Health Educator.

"I am excited to continue working to promote holistic wellbeing at Cal Poly and am dedicated to connecting students, staff and faculty to community resources, services and programs."

Lauren enjoys spending her time outside of work with her friends and family. She enjoys sitting in the sun on the beach, reading a good book, and traveling.
